Pukka Pies Hijacks the World Cup

The World Cup is a busy time for the PR industry, with brands trying to get a piece of the action left, right and centre. But that didn’t phase our client, Pukka Pies who challenged us to create a news generation story to align pies with the nation's World Cup hopes, whilst pushing the ‘Everything’s Pukka’ brand messaging.

As though it was meant to be, Harry Kane sparked a true ‘Everything’s Pukka’ moment for England fans with his fantastic hat-trick, making him a hot topic of conversation. So we set our minds on delivering a unique, fun tribute to engage his legion of fans, and the rest of the nation.

We collaborated with renowned food artist Nathan Wyburn to create a portrait of Kane, made entirely out of the best selling All Steak Pukka Pies. We achieved blanket coverage in the likes of the Daily Star, Daily Mirror, BBC Radio Leicester and Match Of The Day Magazine ensuring Pukka had a piece of the World Cup hype.
