It’s certainly been a busy month here at Kazoo HQ! In between discussing the benefits of digital friendships with top psychologist Dr Peter Collett for BT Mobile and dashing up to Derby for some exciting local Kia dealer PR, I was fortunate enough to take a trip to the beautiful coastal city of Nice.
Along with the some lovely journos from the likes of T3, Alphr and PocketLint, I hopped on a plane to assist with the launch of Kia’s fantastic new fourth generation Sportage. Upon meeting the Kia team at the airport, we settled media in for an afternoon of driving along the beachfront to the iconic F1 racetrack in Monaco. It was with some trepidation that I watched them zoom off; crossing my fingers that they remembered to stay on the right!
I needn’t have worried, as by the time it was sunset, we were en route for a celebratory dinner at a stunning hillside restaurant. After feasting on snails, steak – and an unexpected basket of raw vegetables – we headed back to the beautiful Les Mas De Pierre.
With sun streaming through our windows, the next day brought amazing weather – perfect for the journalists’ final drive around the city. With our route complete, we headed to the airport and a few hours later we touched down in (grey and rainy) Heathrow, and it was back to work…
All in all, the trip was a great success, just as the Sportage promises to be.
